Attorney Lu’s practice focuses on major commercial litigation and arbitration. With a solid foundation in legal theory and the ability to quickly understand and learn various business models, she has participated in numerous high-value, major, and complex cases. She has accumulated extensive experience in cross-border dispute resolution, including multiple litigation and arbitration cases involving the application of Hong Kong law, BVI law, U.S. law, among others, and has collaborated closely with overseas counsel to maximize client interests.

She has been involved in cases adjudicated at various levels of courts and major domestic and international arbitration institutions, including the Supreme People’s Court, various High People’s Courts, the Hong Kong High Court, the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, among others.

Represented the founder of a cross-border structured real estate development company in handling disputes among shareholders (family members), involving simultaneous litigation proceedings in China and overseas jurisdictions. The underlying assets exceeded 10 billion RMB. Successfully obtained a rare behavioral injunction in Chinese commercial litigation to restrict the de facto controller of a BVI company and its Chinese subsidiary from disposing of various assets or engaging in improper corporate management activities.

Represented a state-owned enterprise in an investment project dispute at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, where the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Arbitration Rules were applied. The disputed transaction amount exceeded 1.8 billion RMB.

Represented an individual in handling an option agreement dispute with Meituan, where California (U.S.) law was applicable. The dispute amount exceeded 300 million RMB.

Represented an investment fund in handling mainland property preservation proceedings for a Hong Kong arbitration case, as well as the subsequent recognition and enforcement of the arbitral award. In this case, a mainland Chinese court recognized for the first time the Hong Kong arbitral tribunal's jurisdiction to award costs, including legal fees, incurred in mainland arbitration preservation proceedings.

Represented a state-owned enterprise in collaborating with a Hong Kong legal team to handle a complex contract dispute adjudicated by the Hong Kong High Court. In this case, by focusing on jurisdictional grounds, assisted the client in avoiding substantive trial proceedings through appropriate procedural strategies, thereby significantly reducing legal costs.

Represented a U.S. dollar investment fund's portfolio company in China in a dispute with a natural person. The case involved cross-disciplinary issues such as the authenticity determination of documents and WeChat chat records, as well as legal questions regarding the admissibility of evidence under the latest technological means and the allocation of the burden of proof. Despite an extremely unfavorable outcome in the first instance, after intervening in the second instance, successfully helped the client achieve a complete reversal of the judgment.
