Attorney Xiao’s primary practice focuses on civil and commercial matters, particularly in the resolution of major commercial disputes in the areas of contracts, corporate law, finance, and insurance. He has handled a significant number of litigation cases, including those at the Supreme People’s Court and various intermediate and higher-level courts, as well as arbitration cases adjudicated by institutions such as the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, and Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, with a total claim amount exceeding tens of billions of RMB. He has provided litigation, arbitration, and enforcement services to numerous well-known domestic and international enterprises in disputes involving commercial contracts, real estate development, equity and corporate control, torts, real estate, and trade secret infringement, among others. In many second-instance or retrial cases he has handled, favorable reversals were achieved after multiple rounds of proceedings. Through his casework, he has established strong mutual trust with adjudicators and has received high praise from clients.
Attorney Xiao has previously served as a dispute resolution advisor for large state-owned enterprises, has been appointed as a lecturer for commercial dispute litigation practice courses at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Fudan University, and has been invited on multiple occasions to provide legal training for entities such as the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangdong Province and its provincial enterprises.
