Congratulations to Lawyer Xiao Yi on Her Promotion to Partner

Amid the legal industry’s test of economic conditions, Zhenghan Law Firm continues to advance its talent strategy layout. Effective July 1, 2025, Xiao Yi, Business Director of Zhenghan Law Firm’s Guangzhou Office and senior lawyer, has been officially promoted to partner. As another partner independently cultivated by Zhenghan and grown from a graduate, Lawyer Xiao Yi embodies the endogenous strength of Zhenghan’s sustainable development and offers young lawyers a vision of the inheritance and growth of a corporate law firm.

Partner’s Recommendation

I have unwittingly discovered many outstanding qualities in Xiao Yi: a spirit of quiet dedication and perseverance in case handling; warm, thoughtful and highly affable social skills; an open, cheerful and broad-minded attitude toward life with diverse interests… As an outstanding representative bearing the pure genes of Zhenghan Law Firm, I look forward to her leading Zhenghan to thrive and grow continuously in the Greater Bay Area! 【Partner Yang Runlai】
From her job interview, we recognized Xiao Yi’s professionalism and composure beyond her peers, which led us to accept her as a Guangzhou intern transferred to Shanghai. Interestingly, Xiao Yi has now returned to Guangzhou as Business Director, contributing to the development of Zhenghan’s business in the Greater Bay Area. Over the years, Xiao Yi has seemingly kept a low profile, yet in a firm where dispute resolution “gathers top talents”, she has demonstrated her all-round capabilities, achieving remarkable results in professional skills, teamwork, and internal and external communication and coordination. She has handled many cases that turned the tide against adversity, earning high praise from colleagues and clients. Particularly in case handling, she has gradually built a sound relationship of mutual trust with adjudicators she has never met before, relying on her professionalism and personal charm — this is truly the “highest realm” of communication skills for a dispute resolution lawyer. It has also significantly enhanced the reputation of Zhenghan lawyers in the legal circle, setting an example worthy of learning from each of us. Xiao Yi fully meets the standards of Zhenghan’s young partners. I wish her continued steady growth after becoming a partner and emerging as a backbone among Zhenghan’s young generation of partners. 【Partner Wang Zheng】
