Attorney Ma has years of professional experience handling major, complex, and difficult commercial disputes, with particular expertise in resolving corporate-type conflicts such as equity investment and financing, corporate deadlock governance, damages to company interests, and shareholder qualification confirmation. To date, the total claim amount of corporate disputes handled exceeds 30 billion RMB. Several of the corporate dispute judgments he represented have become benchmarks for adjudication standards within the field. The over-10-billion RMB equity transfer dispute he represented was awarded the *China Business Law Journal* 2023 Transaction of the Year Award (Dispute Resolution category).

Attorney Ma also possesses substantial experience with emerging financial disputes, having successfully handled over a hundred cases in areas including asset management, bonds, trusts, and financial leasing. Many of these cases have received special recognition: for example, the business trust dispute case he represented for a financial institution against a trust company stood out among over 370,000 disputes in Guangzhou that year, cumulatively securing over 1.9 billion RMB in substantial compensation for the client. The case received the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s “Business Achievement Award,” won the Third Golden Thread Judicial Case Award – Finance and Investment category, and was also selected as a *China Business Law Journal* 2022 Outstanding Deal. The deficiency payment guarantee dispute case he represented for a financial institution against a listed company received the Fourth Golden Thread Judicial Case Award – Finance and Investment category. The private equity fund dispute case he represented for a listed company was listed among the Top 10 Financial Adjudication Cases of the Jiangsu Courts (2021–2023). Additionally, Attorney Ma has achieved significant results in cases represented at the Supreme People’s Court, with two cases successfully accepted for retrial by the Supreme Court and one case receiving full support after a revised judgment by the Supreme Court.

Represented a financial institution in a business trust dispute case with a trust company, cumulatively securing 1.907 billion RMB in substantial compensation for the client.

Represented a privately held company in handling a share transfer dispute case arising from its acquisition of a commercial bank, with the amount involved reaching 12 billion RMB.

Represented a bank in a trust loan/deficiency payment guarantee dispute case involving eighteen defendants, including three listed companies, with the claim amount as high as 4.92 billion RMB. This was the lawsuit with the largest claim amount since the establishment of the court in question.

Represented a Shanghai municipal state-owned enterprise in a dispute over the validity of a mortgage contract with a well-known bank, involving a total amount of approximately 4.7 billion RMB.

Represented a major shareholder of a listed company in responding to a share transfer dispute lawsuit. After a 7-year litigation marathon involving nearly 10 hearings across 5 different courts, ultimately helped the client retain control of the listed company, with the value involved amounting to tens of billions.

Represented a well-known real estate company in a share transfer dispute case against another real estate development enterprise, with the equity value at 1.7 billion RMB and the claim amount as high as 1 billion RMB.

Represented a Hong Kong real estate development company in a share transfer dispute case with another Hong Kong company, where the value of the disputed equity exceeded 1 billion RMB.

Represented a joint-stock bank in a deficiency payment guarantee dispute case with the actual controller of a listed company, with a claim amount of 1 billion RMB.

Represented a financial holding company in a stock pledge repurchase dispute case with a listed company, with a claim amount of 1 billion RMB.

Represented a state-owned enterprise in a dispute over damages to company interests arising from related-party transactions with the actual controller of a listed company, with a claim amount of 910 million RMB.

Represented a state-owned enterprise in two related property damage compensation dispute cases with another enterprise, with a combined claim amount of 517 million RMB.

[Supreme Court Reversal Case] Represented a natural person in a contract dispute case against a real estate development company, with a claim amount of 100 million RMB. Handled the second instance proceedings, resulting in a complete reversal of the first-instance judgment and a total victory.

[Supreme Court Reversal Case] Represented a film and television company in a contract dispute case against a well-known state-owned enterprise in Guangdong, with a claim amount of 80 million RMB. The client lost in both the first and second instances. Represented the client in filing a retrial petition with the Supreme People's Court, resulting in a reversal (settled through mediation).
